As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with 10+ years who has helped hundreds of therapy clients struggling with challenges like you, Dr. Sierra has the education, training, and experience to help you find your keys to change.
Dr. Sierra intimately understands the challenges of the clients with whom she works because she has been there, ensnared and weighted down by the chains of trying to be perfect, wanting to please others, needing to feel accepted and worthwhile, but never actually feeling it.
Resourced with the support of loving and caring family and friends, the wisdom and guidance of sage teachers and helpers, and the strength and power of harnessing self-acceptance and self-compassion, she was able to find a path of moving through life in a more present, more purposeful, and more peaceful manner. She is the heroine of her own story, but she didn’t get there alone. She knows none of us can get their alone. She wants to guide you to be the the hero/heroine of your story!
Dr. Sierra identifies as a White cisgender female who has experienced financial privilege, and she acknowledges how her positioning in contemporary society may be different from that of her clients. Dr. Sierra has been married, she has been divorced, she has parented three children, she has worked for the government, she has worked for private companies, she has owned her own business. She has run several half-marathons and one full marathon, she has experienced chronic illness, suffered from unexpected injuries and adversity. Dr. Sierra has experienced deep love and deep loss and deep heartbreak. She has won and lost, succeeded and failed. She has a breath of lived experience that helps her understand her clients.
